Lea County Regional Airport (HOB) currently has daily commercial service via United Express to Houston and is approximately 10-15 miles from EnergyPlex Park. This twice a day service began in July 2011. The airport is currently undergoing a planning process to plan for future needs and expansions, including the extension of the runway and expansion of the terminal. Initial discussions are underway to secure additional air service to either Albuquerque or Denver. The Lea County Regional Airport also has several private aircraft that use the airport.
